I would like to share with you interesting story about Google's penalization of this site. This site is live on internet since 2005. In the first year I was doing hard job; putting new content every week, doing search engine optimization (seo), exchanging traffic with similar sites in adult - porn niche. Soon my sites became bigger and bigger, users started to love 4greedy.com because of content and usability. After 1 year of running 4greedy.com, traffic was around 100 000 unique visitors (UV) every day. And still growing. 2 years later first porn tube sites had come. But 4greedy.com was still doing pretty well. That time traffic was around 200-250 000 UV per day. For 3 years it was like this. Especially from google I was getting around 100-150 000 UV every day. And also statistic of this google traffic was very nice; bounce rate was bellow 50% and page views per visitors was around 4-5. For porn free sex video site these are very nice numbers. I want to say, that my site was never tube site. I was always making this site for fun and not for earning big money. So I have never payed so much attention to upgrade this site to porn tube site. I just didnt care. However, site was big enough to earn me nice money to pay my costs and to enjoy the life in fullness. But then suddenly it happened. I remember it exactly, it was October 2009. I was that time in London, where I just finished music school and was thinking about building my own recording studio to become music producer. Google Caffeine update had come, and traffic from google had dropped from 150K UV to 50K. I got some sort of google penalty or filter.

Well google penalty is not easy thing, but I never though that it will be end of this site and end of my dreams of being music producer as well. First 2 months I was easy with this google filter. I never did anything against google guidelines, never used black seo techniques, never used link building farms, never used my site for spams or for using ads which installs mal-ware soft. I always played fair game. After 2 months my site was back. But only for 1 week, then penalty hit 4greedy again.

I started to take it more seriously. I started to change stuff on my site. Pattern repeated again. After 2 months - 8 weeks, penalty was lifted and after 1 week penalty was back. WTF is this ? And google traffic was dropping. To make this story short; since 2010 I have changed everything on this site: I changed layout, cancel private registration, put down annoying ads - popups, etc..., de-optimize site to lower keyword density, speed up website, put down affiliates links - adding "no follow", reconsider my hard link exchange partnership and removed links to bad neighbors, reduced internal linkings, upload new site map, dropped duplicity pages from google index - I dropped around 30 000 pages, etc... Nothing HELPED. Pattern stayed the same. Every 8 weeks penalty is lifted, after 1 week penalty recurs and come back. Every 2 months Im sending reconsideration request to google team, with no response. Traffic has established to 20 000 UV per day. And whatever I do within the site, amount of traffic during penalty period is the same. I searched whole internet to find webmasters with similar issue. With no success.
